What is not collected

The site sets no cookies in your browser, uses no Google Analytics or other tracking tool, and loads no script or font from a third-party server. The font and the code are hosted on the site itself. (Cookies exist only for the WordPress admin, for whoever logs in to it.)

Server logs

Like any web server, this one logs each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the browser and the referring page. Logs are kept for 90 days on the server, then deleted. They are used for security and for anonymous aggregate statistics produced on the server itself, with no outside service.

The website checking tool

Once the tool is live, it will keep the address of the checked site and the results for 30 days, and your IP address to limit the number of checks. An email address is kept only if you choose to receive the full report and tick the consent box, together with the date of consent and the IP address. The data stays on the server and is not passed to anyone.

Where the data is

The site is hosted by Helaio on an Amazon Web Services server in the Paris region (eu-west-3). A daily backup is kept for 30 days. The site’s emails are sent through Amazon SES.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information kept about you, under Israel’s Privacy Protection Law: oherbelin@gmail.com.
